பாடம் சொல்லும் ஆசிரியர் மட்டுமல்ல அவர், வெறும் கரும்பலகை மின்னும் சுண்ணக்கட்டி அல்ல அவர்! செவிமடுக்கும் வார்த்தைகளைத் தாண்டிய பேரன்பு அவர், நம் இதயத்தைச் செதுக்கி, தடுமாறாமல் வழி காட்டும் மேதை அவர்! ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நம் கரம் பிடித்து, நாளைய விடியலை நோக்கி நடத்தும் ஆசான் அவர்!

A teacher is more than lessons and chalk,

More than the words we hear when they talk.

They shape our hearts, they steady our way,

Guiding our tomorrows, day by day.

A life coach whispering, “You can rise,”

A motivator teaching us to try.

A discovery guide opening doors,

Showing the wonder the world stores.

A trip coordinator of dreams untold,

A negotiator, gentle yet bold.

A cheerleader clapping when hope feels thin,

Believing in us before we begin.

A rule enforcer, fair and kind,

An eye opener awakening the mind.

A role model in words and deed,

Planting values like a seed.

An organizer of chaos and care,

A reality checker, honest and rare.

A fund raiser with tireless grace,

For every child, every place.

A nose wiper in moments small,

An IT specialist fixing it all.

A counselor hearing silent cries,

Reading tears behind young eyes.

A handwriting expert, patient and slow,

A dream instiller, helping hopes grow.

A mediator when voices clash,

Turning anger to empathy, fire to ash.

A truth detector, firm yet fair,

An entertainer spreading joy and flair.

A trainer building courage within,

Teaching us how to rise, not just win.

An event planner behind the scene,

A scheduler keeping time serene.

A decorator coloring days bright,

Turning classrooms into pure delight.

So when we say “teacher,” remember this truth

You carry the weight of every youth.

In tired eyes and a hopeful smile,

You change the world  one child at a time.
