நான் உனக்கு அருகில் மட்டும் வளரவில்லை, உன் பாச நிழலிலேயே வளர்ந்தேன். உன் கண்களுக்கு நான் வெறும் உடன்பிறப்பு மட்டுமல்ல— நீயாக விரும்பி வளர்த்த ஒரு குழந்தை நான்.

I did not just grow beside you,

I grew within your shadow of care.

In your eyes, I wasn’t just a sibling—

I was a child you chose to raise.

You held my fears before I knew them,

Wiped tears I couldn’t name.

In your arms, I found a mother’s warmth,

In your words, a guiding flame.

You scolded me with hidden softness,

Loved me in ways I couldn’t see.

Every sacrifice you quietly made

Built the person I now be.

When the world felt loud and heavy,

You stood as my silent shield.

Your strength became my shelter,

Your love, my safest field.

I may call you “sister” with a smile,

But my heart knows something more—

You are the home I run back to,

The love I’ll forever adore.

If I stand strong today,

If I rise, unafraid and true—

It’s because I had a second mother

Living her life for me… as you.
