The Great Chicken Chase.. ஒரு கோழியின் சுட்டித்தனம்!

கோழி வளர்ப்பது எளிது என்று நினைத்த ஒரு மனிதன், விசித்திரமான ஒரு கோழியிடம் அதிகாலையிலேயே அகப்பட்டுக்கொண்டு அதைத் துரத்த முடியாமல் திணறுவதை நகைச்சுவையுடன் விவரிக்கும் கதை இது.

வாங்க வாங்க படிச்சுப் பார்ப்போம்...

The man thought raising chickens would be easy. Until Madam Clucksworth decided that she could run faster than him. The man ran faster than ever, the hen was going around, on the roof of tiny shops, and on top of people’s heads, giving the man a free exercise at 5 o’clock in the morning.

Neighbours peeked out of their doors, rubbing their eyes, wondering why a man was sprinting after a chicken like it was the Olympics. One shopkeeper shouted, “Catch her before she lays an egg on my samosas!” Another laughed so hard he dropped his tea.

Who thought the poor man would battle a chicken in the morning? After a hundred thousand steps of broken run, the man decided to bribe the hen with a samosa. There was a samosa shop nearby. Who doesn’t like samosas? Humans only? He bought one and showed it with a crooked smile on his face.

The hen abruptly stopped. She slowly came to him. He held the hen and put it back in its farm. The hen only gave eggs and responded at the cost of a samosa. From then on, that man became the owner of a samosa-powered poultry business.

And every morning, Madam Clucksworth strutted proudly, knowing she had turned breakfast into a business deal.
