தன் நலம் கருதாது எந்நாளும் உழைத்தவர்,

தன் சுகம் மறந்து எமைத் தாங்கியே வளர்த்தவர்...

ஒரு தாய் பிரிந்தாள், மறு தாய் மறைந்தாள்,

இரு தீபங்கள் அணைய - என் விழிகள் நனைய

இப்படித்தான் கவிதை எழுதத் தோன்றுகிறது, நமது ஆலிஸ் அவர்கள் எழுதியுள்ள இந்தக் கவிதையைப் படிக்கும்போது.. நீங்களே தொடர்ந்து படியுங்கள் அந்த உணர்வுக் கவிதையை...!

March twenty three of last year

I heard my mom not here

Reached the feet of God 

Leaving me alone and odd

Sacrificing everything for me

Suffering sleepless nights

Sweet nothing too made so great

Special care for sensitive things

Never thinking of her 

Self care

Ever bothering children care

Simple and sweet heart really so dare

To lookafter always and  everywhere

My mom in law too

My mom after my marriage

So kind and soft as feather touch

She too sacrificed a lot 

For her soulmate and kids

Never long for her wish

Forever minding what her family wish

Such an affectinate caretaker of others

My mom never think of her gains

I can imagine how much was her pains

Me too lost my cheers

Only my eyes shed tears!
