தியேட்டர்களை விழுங்கப் போகிறதா ஓடிடி.. OTT vs Theatre!

ஒரு காலத்தில் சினிமாவுக்குப் போட்டியாக டிவி வந்தது.. பின்னர் விசிடி வந்தது.. இப்போது ஓடிடி வந்து விட்டது.

டிவி வந்தபோது சினிமா அழியப் போகிறது என்றார்கள்.. ஆனால் அழியவில்லை. விசிடி வந்தபோது டிவியும் சேர்ந்து காலி என்றார்கள்.. இரண்டுமே இன்று பலமாகவே இருக்கின்றன. இப்போது ஓடிடியால் நூதன பிரச்சினை வந்துள்ளது. அதுதான் தியேட்டர்களுக்கு வந்துள்ள பேராபத்து.

சினிமாவால் ஓடிடி பலம் பெறுகிறது. ஆனால் ஓடிடியால் தியேட்டர்கள் பலவீனமாகின்றன.. இதுகுறித்த ஒரு கவிதை.

Theatre breathes with a living crowd,

Curtains rise, hearts beat loud.

A giant screen, a shared first sight,

Laughter and tears unite the night.

Footsteps echo, popcorn flies,

Magic blooms before our eyes.

Silence speaks between each scene,

Together we feel what might have been.

OTT waits within our hand,

Stories stream just as we plan.

Pause and play, rewind the pain,

Watch again and yet again.

Alone or close, at any hour,

Choice becomes the viewer’s power.

Small screens glow in private space,

Comfort wears a familiar face.

Theatre gives moments we remember,

OTT gives time we can surrender.

One is a festival, bold and free,

The other—freedom quitely
