Poem: Only one Earth.. ஒரே பூமி!

ஒரு தாயைப் போல பரிவு காட்டுவது பூமி. நமக்கு அருமையான வசிப்பிடத்தைக் கொடுத்து, உணவையும், காற்றையும், குடிநீரையும் கொடுத்து தாயினும் மேலாக நம்மைப் பராமரிப்பது பூமிதான்.

அந்தப் பூமி குறித்து அக்கறையோடும், கவலையோடும் ஜி. சரளா எழுதியுள்ள ஒரு அழகிய கவிதை:

Earth is our home

To live in as a blessed kingdom

It comforts us with food,water & air 

As our Mother's care.

Let us maintain the green & blue

 To lead a colourful life to pursue 

So don't pollute our natural resource

 Protecting from green house source.

Gift the earth to our children 

As our ancestors were given

 To live as in heaven

With a sign of gratitude to our divine.

We have only one earth

So place your heart to the earth

As heart forms first in womb & dooms

first on the earth.
