My House
- க. ஜாஸ்மின் சிராஜூதீன்
Once upon a time, I lived in a small house.
The walls were built with mud, and the roof was made of sugarcane waste.
There was only one room.
We did everything there.
It was our kitchen, bedroom, and hall.
I had an iron cot, and we kept our vegetables under it.
My children grew up in that little house.
I saw many snakes and millipedes there.
When it rained, water came into the house through holes in the roof.
Even the sunlight came through the gaps in the roof.
But I had a big dream of owning a beautiful and comfortable house.
My dream came true after ten years.
I built a big house through hope, hard work, and determination.
Never give up on your dreams.
Everything is possible with hope and hard work.
Pure thoughts never fade; instead, they continue to shine.
A poor beginning does not decide your future.
With hope, courage, and hard work, life can change for the better.
