அமைதியே மேலோங்கும்.. Peace Reigns Supreme!

அமைதியே மேலோங்கி நிற்கிறது.. இது.. சாதாரண வார்த்தை இல்லைங்க.. நல்லிணக்கம், அமைதி மற்றும் நிதானம் ஆகியவை மோதல்களையும் குழப்பங்களையும் முழுமையாக வென்ற ஒரு நிலையை விவரிக்கப் பயன்படும் ஒரு சக்திவாய்ந்த வார்த்தை இது. 

போர்களால் வெல்ல முடியாததை அமைதியாலும், அன்பாலும் வெல்ல முடியும் என்பதற்கு இந்தியாவே மிகச் சிறந்த உதாரணம். இந்தியா இருப்புக்கு முக்கியக் காரணமே அந்த சகிப்புத்தன்மையும், அமைதியான போராட்டங்களும்தானே..!

அமைதி என்பது வெறும் இருப்பை மட்டும் குறிக்காமல், அதுவே முதன்மையான ஆற்றலாக விளங்குவதையும் குறிக்கிறது.. இதுகுறித்து நமது அன்புக்குரிய லதா சங்கரன் எழுதியுள்ள அழகான கவிதை..

In  tranquil twilight's peaceful, pensive sway

When stars bespake the heavens with soft light,

And darkness doth with silent footsteps stray,

Amidst the hush, where contemplation takes flight.

O, Peace, thou sovereign balm of mortal pain,

Thou soverest the tumultuous waves of strife,

Thou dost with gentle whisper calm the brain,

And in thy sacred presence, woes subside.

Thy reign, a golden age of love doth bring,

When hearts, like Æolian harps, in concord sing,

And all the world, in sweet communion's ring,

Doth celebrate thy triumph, sovereign king.

Yet, like a fleeting dream, thou doth recede,

And war's dire horrors, mortal hearts do dread.
