What will be there?

In the darkest night of the year,

I peep out to see

The tall trees with their leaves.

An unlit road sends fear through me,

My mind searches for a beacon,

But fails to find one.

I run tirelessly to unravel the mystery,

The sound of an owl adds feathers to fear.

I find a house where no one lives,

Afraid to move, even a bit.

Stars twinkle in the sky,

A horror-filled night I have never known.

The Magic Within the Pages

Some pages in books transform our views,

Change the paths we choose,

Heal the emotions deep within,

And plant our thoughts with roots that cling.

They change our perspective on life,

Bring joy like flowers into our hearts,

And let happiness flow through every vein.

An angel waves its wand of magic

As we journey through the pages;

Empty minds fill with knowledge,

Rising beyond the clouds

To touch the endless sky.
