My mother is the living true face of sacrifice,
She gives her life with tender grace.
She teaches us kindness, truth, and care,
And helps us rise and take our place.
She works from morning until night,
An angel who fills our home with warmth and light.
She hides her worries deep inside,
And stands with strength and silent pride.
She serves us first before she eats,
And fills our lives with love and amazing feats,
She leaves her dreams and stays behind.
To guide our hearts with love so kind.
When marriage brings its cares and pain,
We think of our mother once again.
We slowly begin at last to see
Her silent strength and misery.
The sleepless nights, the endless care,
The quiet burdens she would bear.
Whenever we return home,
Her waiting heart still feels our own.
She cooks the dishes that we love,
Though pain and sickness test her soul above.
Her tired hands still work with joy
To feed each daughter and each boy.
No jealousy lives within her heart,
No hatred tears her soul apart.
Through every fall, through every fear,
She stands beside us, always near.
She cares for every grandchild too,
With the same old love so pure and true.
Though age and weakness slow her pace,
Her smile still shines with tender grace.
No words are enough to truly say
The love she gives us every day.
For God has shown His purest art
Through a gentle mother’s heart.
