The unborn infant comes out of the womb,
With the hope that her mom will take care of her.
As a toddler, she leaves her mother’s gentle hand,
Holds her teacher’s fingers, hoping she’ll guide her.
As a teen, she steps into college with dreams in her eyes,
Hoping one day her dreams will come true.
As a bride, she leaves behind the home she grew up in,
Hoping her husband will cherish and take care.
When she walks into the labor ward with prayers,
She hopes she’ll deliver a healthy little one.
As years roll on and age touches her gently,
She hopes she’ll stay active until her final breath.
From birth until death, a woman’s life
Is held together with threads of hope.
It's the power of hope that gives strength,
To face every challenge in her life.
